William Swindon, aged 50 years, native of London; came to the colony in 1850, ship Coldstream; died April 10 [1879], from pneumonia and shock from falling out of a window. [3]

Richard Tamar, aged 56, native of Surrey; arrived in 1854, ship St. George; died October 29 [1879], from broncho pulmonia. [9]

Charles Taylor, aged 36 years, native of Shrewsbury; came to the colony in 1875, ship Great Pacific; died on the 22nd July [1879], from pleuro-pneumonia. [5]

Joseph Taylor, aged 56 years, native of London; came to the colony in 1869, ship Trafalgar; died on the 29th May [1879], from pleuro-pneumonia. [4]

Emily Tegart, aged 27 years, native of Sydney; came to the colony in 1857, ship Blackbird; died September 25 [1879], from pulmonary phthisis. [7]

Catherine Thomas, aged 28, native of London; arrived 1866, in the Canterbury; died January 8 [1879], of phthisis. [1]

Henry Thomas, aged 58 years, a native of London; came to the colony in 1852, ship Mary Parker; died on the 2nd August [1879], from uraenia. [6]

Charles Thompson, aged 31 years, native of North America; came to the colony in 1876, ship Salaomis; died April 4 [1879], of dysenteria. [3]

Margaret Thompson, aged 65 years, native of Cumberland; arrived 1856, in the Broughton Hall; died January 27 [1879], of morbus Brightii. [2]

William Thompson, aged 39, native of Scotland; arrived in 1879, ship Sultan; died November 20 [1879], from acute peritonitis. [9]

Michael Tierney, native of Ireland; came to the colony at date unknown; died October 12 [1879], from internal injury. [8]

Ah Tip, aged 49 years, native of Hong Kong; came to the colony in 1868; died September 25 [1879], from morbus cordis. [7]

Emma Tomlinson, aged 55, native of Sheffield; arrived 1853, in the Boomerang; died December 22 [1878], of morbus Brightii. [1]

Andrew Torrence, aged 62 years, native of Edinburgh; came to the colony in 1858, ship Marco Polo; died October 10 [1879], of cancer of the aesophagus. [8]

Mary Toussard, aged 49 years, native of Ireland; came to the colony in 1856, ship James Furney; died on the 22nd July [1879], from phthisis. [5]

Julius Traeger, aged 48 years, native of Prussia; arrived 1863, in the Morning Light; died February 13 [1879], of cancer. [2]

Ah Tung, aged 36, native of Hong Kong; arrived in the colony in 1879; died January 6 [1880], from phthisis pulmonalis. [11]

Charles Turner, aged 43 years, native of America; came to the colony in 1852; died on the 4th June [1879], from pneumonia. [4]

Charles Viney, aged 58 years; died April 24 [1879], from pneumonia. (Other particulars not known). [3]

Sarah Wadsworth, aged 58 years, native of Leicestershire; came to the colony in 1859; died September 20 [1879], from chronic diarrhoea. [7]

John Walden, aged 23 years, native of Castlemaine; died September 13 [1879], from pneumonia. [7]

Catherine Waldron, aged 29 years, native of Ireland; came to the colony in 1866, ship Shallamar; died on the 25th May [1879], from phthisis. [4]

Alexander Walker, aged 55, native of Scotland; arrived 1853; died January 2 [1879], of morbus cordis. [1]

Mary Walker, aged 39 years, native of Cornwall; came to the colony in 1861, ship Norfolk; died on the 27th June [1879], from tertiary syphilis. [4]

William Walker, aged 57 years, native of Yorkshire; came to the colony in 1850, ship Earl of Eglington; died on the 11th June [1879], from aneurism of the aorta. [4]

George Wall, aged 60, native of London; arrived in 1853, ship Louisa; died November 7 [1879], from phthisis. [9]

Thomas Wallace, aged 35 years, native of Leith, Scotland; arrived 1879, in the Kinclune; died January 24 [1879], of fractured skull. [2]

Robert Wallis, aged 39 years, native of Knightsbridge; came to the colony in 1864, ship Great Britain; died September 5 [1879], from phthisis pulmonalis. [7]

James Walsh, aged 27 years, native of Ireland; came to the colony in 1870; died on the 18th July [1879], from pleuro-pneumonia. [5]

James Windward, aged 47 years, native of Derbyshire; came to the colony in 1854, ship Almora; died October 26 [1879], of morbus Brightii. [8]

Mary Ann Winter, aged 29 years, native of Cornwall; came to the colony in 1870, ship Queen of the North; died on the 18th August [1879], from morbus Brightii. [6]

James Wolfe, aged 58, native of Scotland; arrived in 1877, ship Lusitania; died November 23 [1879], from osteo arthritis of elbow joint. [9]

Susan Woods, aged 52, native of Ireland; arrived in 1856, ship Hotspur; died November 12 [1879], from chronic bronchitis. [9]

John Yenvers, aged 63 years, native of Hampshire; came to the colony in 1844; died on the 26th July [1879], from rheumatism and morbus cordis. [5]

Ching Yung, aged 60, native of Hong Kong; arrived in 1879, ship Eldorado; died November 16 [1879], from scurvy. [9]
